Designed for SSP and Christchurch International Airport, Christchurch Coffee Exports transformed an existing tenancy through a considered spatial and brand refresh delivered within a limited budget. Our scope included concept development, 3D visualisation, brand identity and guidelines, digital assets and full design documentation, creating a modern, functional and light-filled coffee destination at the centre of the international terminal.

The new concept brings Christchurch’s independent coffee culture into the heart of International Departures. Its open, island-style format maximises visibility and ease of service, creating an intuitive stop for travellers moving through the terminal.

A restrained palette of warm timber, soft stone and crisp, illuminated sage-green signage gives the compact space a strong presence without competing with its light-filled surroundings. Proudly serving coffee roasted in Ōtautahi, the result is a distinctly local experience designed for the pace of travel.
